He leaned down and rubbed his face along the soft fur of her chest as she rolled on the ground. She was beautiful and soft, and he wanted to make her his.

Her words sent warmth flooding through him. From the tips of his ears to the end of his tail, all he could feel was pure happiness. He had never felt this way, no one had ever had this effect on him.

Adyn tilted his head and laid it over her shoulder as she groomed his neck. He never would have let another wolf put him in a situation that could so easily be deadly for him, but he knew that she would not harm him. He could feel her teeth warm and strong against his neck, so capable of killing him in an instant, and yet he had no fear. Soon she brought him back from his musings with a soft kiss to the nose. Her soft pink tongue sending shivers of delight through him.

Alarice's whine of fear sent a jolt throught Adyn's heart. He rushed to comfort her, he didn't want her to fear, there was no need to. He knew the only one of his pack that would have a true adversion to her appearence would be his sister, but he had a way around that as well.

"Hush love, don't worry. They will love you. You are the most beautiful creature to walk the earth. Even if they for some reason do not, it will not matter. You will be accepted because you will be a part of me. No one will dispute it when they know that you are mine.You will be safe; as long as you are with me you will be safe.

Well Are we going to hang out here for the night...or go to your pack. And why wouldn't they care? I am of Hell blood.

Adyn smiled, he was happy; purely and genuinely happy. Things were falling together, and it was all going to work out. What happened next was in a way up to her, Adyn watched as she got a drink and then returned to his side, leaning her head on his strong, well-muscled shoulder. He made a contended noise in his throat as she slid to the ground beside him and laid her glorious head on her paws. After a moment of marveling at her beauty, he laid down next to her, curling his body protectively around her.

"Well, my love, that part is kind of up to you. I have a place that we can go to tonight, or we can go to my clan. If we stay in the forest it might lighten the hell scent on your fur and add more of my scent. I will let you choose my lovely. And as for your other question, we are different from Hell clan in that way. We look at the wolf, and not the scent and blood that they carry. It is not your pack that decides who you are, it is your heart. I think you will find that things are alot less strict in Earth pack sweetheart. Even then I have a little more leway than others do..." He trailed off wondering if he should continue or not, but then decided to go on.

"When I was a pup, both of my parents were killed, and my sister was taken from me. She had wandered over the border to the Hell lands, and the pack took her. She has since come back to us. But with my parents being dead and and my sister gone, the clan took me in. They were never as hard on me as they were on the others, and it is the same today. It is like the past has given me a special place in the pack. So you tell me, where are we going tonight?"

Adyn nuzzled Alarice's ear and looked down into her face. He did not want her to missunderstand or be afraid.

"What pack you are from will make no difference to them. What pack you are from makes no difference to me for that matter. We will be together as long as that is what you wish, safe and happy within Earth pack. So you tell me, where are we going tonight my lovely?"

Let's go to a place we can stay overnight. I will meet them tommorrow.

Adyn smiled up at the wolf that stood above him. At her words he got to his feet and shook the dirt and leaf-clutter from his pelt. Brushing along her as he went, he walked to the water and dipped his head to lap the cool, crystal clear water. When he had had his fill, he turned to her and smiled.

Are you ready my dear?

Adyn walked to her side and waited for her signal that she was ready to go. Trotting with his fur brushing hers, Adyn led the beautiful creature that was with him through the forest along the winding river.

He had found this place a long time ago, when his parents and sister had been lost to him. He had come here to get away from all of the pitying eyes and 'helpful' and 'encouraging' words. More often than not they did nothing but make things worse. He had found the place that he was leading her to, and hid there for peace and quiet.

He took her through the most scenic part of the forest. With the leaves turning and forming a carpet on the ground it made it all the more lovely. All of the colors of the forest blended together to make the most beautiful portrait that he had ever seen. Red, burgundy, brown, and yellow leaves hung from the trees and covered the ground, accenting eachother perfectly. The River wove clear and bright and sparkling through the collection of autumn colors, adding just the right amount of glory to it.

As they came up to his special place he led her to the small clearing and stood watching for her reaction.

The mouth of a small cave shown black, litchen hanging slightly over the entrance to it. It was set into a hill so that leaves surrounded the mouth of the cave all around. Next to the mouth of the cave, the river flowed down the hill in a waterfall. As the water cascaded down, it sparkled in a way that could have rivaled any diamond. The only sound was that of the flowing water and their soft breath, it really was the perfect place. Adyn looked at Alarice's face, trying to read her mind.

Adyn smiled in satisfaction as he heard her gasp, he was glad to have impressed her. He walked around the clearing and pushed leaves into the cave. When he had a respectable pile, he circled around in it, and pawed at them to make a nest. Then a thought struck him, what if she didn't wanna share a bed with him? Slowly he circled and laid down, watching closely to see what she would do and hopeing that she would come and snuggle up to him.

Adyn awoke to a soft nugde, and lifted his head to fing Alarice's gorgeous blue eyes straing back at him. Smiling he looked back at her.

"Good morning Beautiful. You know it isn't very often that I wake up next to such a pretty lady. His eyes sparkled. "Stay here, I will be back soon."

Getting to his feet, Adyn kissed her face and then trotted out of the den. He took a quick moment to drink and then got to his task, he was in a hurry to get back to her. He didn't have to go far before he found what he was looking for, before long he was trotting back to their temperary den with three fat rabbits. Happy with himself he carried them into the cave and laid them before Alarice with a bow.

"Breakfast m'lady?"

Adyn watched in horror and shock as Alarice took off and attacked the bear. He watched as she faught with the creature, and was caught with a massive paw. Feeling the blow as if it were to himself, directly to his heart, he watched as her body fell and lay inert in the leaves. Unmoving.

NO!

The thought sounded in his head, and he was off in a flash of fury, Fury and fear drove him as he took off, hel bent, toward the giant, growls ripping from his chest. It had touched her, had hurt her, and therefore must die.

Adyn launched himself at the bear once he was close enough and landed on its back. Ripping and tearing at anything that he could get ahold of with claws and teeth, he viciously attacked. He felt the momentum before he realized what it was that was happening, the realization hit him just as he hit the ground and the weight came down on top of him. The bear had stood and slammed into the ground back first, pinning Adyn beneath its massive body. The air whooshed out of Ady's lungs, and he heard the sickening snap a few seconds before he felt a shite hot heat rip through the right side of his chest.

Driven by rage and grief, he drig himself out and attacked before the bear had a chance to right itself. He faught hard trying to get to his target. The sharp sting of claws scraped the length of his belly, and he felt the warmth of blood begin to seep into his fur, but he ignored it. As sharp teeth closed around his font leg, slicing deep, he hit his mark; driving long sharp canines into the animal's throat. A final pressure on his leg that probuced a burning like fire, and it was over. The bear lay still, no longer drawing breath.

Slowly Adyn released his teeth from their hold, and slid off of the body that was beneath him, hating it. Forgetting about all of his injuries, and dreading what he would find, he slowly made his way over to Alarice and nuzzled her.

He breathed a sigh of relief, but cut it short as pain shot through his chest, he could feel the ends of broken ribs clicking against eachother as he breathed. Each breath a fight not to cry out in pain, and yet he had no concrn for any of that.

His thoughts were not on himself, though somewhere in the back of his mind, all of the pain and injuries were raging with concerns for his own health. But none of that mattered, nothing of his mattered, only she did. Only her and her pain was what mattered to him.

Adyn looked at her with frantic worry in his eyes. Slowly he sniffed her all over looking for injuries that she might be sufering from, poking here and there with his nose, being as gentle as possible while trying to see what was wrong. She had deffinately broken some ribs. Adyn focused his eyes on her face, locking their gazes.

"I do not matter. Where are you hurt, and how badly? I need to know how bad you are hurt so that I can fix it the best I can. I will not let anything happen to you. I know that you have hurt some ribs, are you hurt anywhere else? I want you to come and lay down back in our nest and rest for a while, take the other rabbit if you are hungry.
