I want a girl with lips like morphineShe strode with an elegance most did not have anymore.. a pride that showed her happiness, yet no arrogance could be seen within her bright eyes. She was a beautiful girl, really. Very petite and cat like.. she stalked the land with great grace - - a spy was for sure something she could be perfect at. The dens were close by, she could smell the other wolves! The ones she'd now grown up around. A smile came across her lips, harks up and tail wagging behind her, stride kept up well and tongue hanging out the side of her mouth. Though, she made no sound.. having no interest in causing a disturbance if there were sleeping creatures within her home. Actually, she remembered having to go see Ghost.. but for now, she'd return back to the dens and either nap or socialize. Lately, not many wolves were around. Of course, lurking the lands of Drei, but none where she had been.
She'd been stationed near the borders of Hell; assuring peace with the two neighboring packs. The Alpha was nervous about something, she remembered that a few days back.. and being a spy and possibly holding the position for Beta, she wanted to help out any way possible. To her pleasure, though, no wolves of Hell were plotting against anything.. besides each other. Morphine finally crossed into the dens, a frown now on her face. They were such awful creatures of blood and gore.. to her, it was a shame to share the same lines as one of their members. A quick sigh escaped her maw, and she propped her head right back up, put another smile on her face, and scoped out the lands before her. A cool autumn breeze hitting her nostrils and tongue; a refreshing taste, the autumn air.
Her gaze ended on a familiar white wolf, one in a time of desperation. His name was Adyn, a handsome brute - - a friend from her younger years and a good hearted male. Previously mated to a beast, he now moped about quite a bit. The female slowed her trot, mouth closing though keeping such a gentle smile, as she made her approach. "Still down, I see." simple words came from such a sweet mouth.. voice quite like honey. It was sweet, girly.. yet had some sort of matured tone to it. Her singing voice was quite extravagant, as well. Lithe female came to a stop at his shoulder, reaching out and lightly nuzzling it. And then she distanced herself and sat back, "Tell me dear, why do you still stir within yourself the trouble one has caused you?"

regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) Adyn sat in the dens, knowing that there were a million other things that he needed to be doing, but not able to make himself do them. It was done and over, all there was to do now was move on, so why couldn't he? The pain was now a dull ache, but life had lost its draw for him. He had no desire to go on now, no want to keep doing the everyday things.
As thoughts flitted in and out of his mind, the honey voice of a female came to him. His ears lifted and his head shot up, eyes searching, hoping, maybe... just maybe... then they lit on the female. His hopes fell slightly as he realized that it was not who he had hoped, she had not come back to him. But oddly his heart had not fallen all the way to the ground, it was still slightly warmed from the depths of its dispair by her presence. He did not think long on this, simply brushed it to the side.
She was pretty, somone that he had known since he was a pup. Through the haze in his mind it took a moment for him to place her, but after a short search of his memory her name came to mind, Morphine. She was a pretty thing, small and graceful with a beautiful coat of browns and white. Her eyes were soft and caring as she looked back at him, and she carried a soft smile on her pretty face.
"Still down i see. Tell me dear, why do you still stir within yourself the trouble one has caused you?"
He looked up to meet her eyes, knowing that she would see the sadness and emptiness in them. When he had first come back he had tried to hide it, but after a short time he knew that it was futile. There was no sense in tring to hide it from her, she had already caught him.
"What is wrong with me Morphine? Am I so horrible that no one can live with me?"

I want a girl with lips like morphineOddly enough, she did not hate the female of Hell who had brought such despair on an old friend.. Mistakes could be made and someday, maybe she'd realized what she'd lost. Mentally, the gray and chocolate smudged female stirred, her thoughts caught up in the hopes that Adyn would find someone more of a catch. And clearly someone who deserved him more. Just as she had expected though, he looked at her through hurt orbs. She could say many things at his words, "What is wrong with me Morphine? Am I so horrible that no one can live with me?".. she could trash Alarice like anybody else would. Torture him with more lies and possibly false hopes. Instead, the female looked to the skies and sighed. Words rambled through her mind and frustration riddled her bones; how to explain such a thing to a grieving friend.. it would be hard. Green eyes fell back to the lands and the autumn scenery, the beauty of it all put a smile back on her face. Calmly, she collected her breath and bit her tongue a little bit.
"Everything good comes to an end at some point. Sometimes, maybe they weren't even good at all. Adyn, in this case, it was not you she could not bear to live with, it was herself. Alarice does not seem to be in the mind to be with someone from another pack. Hearts tend to stray eventually. Some stay bound to another forever, others break apart and search on. Nevermind, I won't lecture you right now. Adyn.." the female sighed and rested her maw against his shoulder again, green eyes peeking up at him. Her body plopped over and now rested along the white male, as she took in another sharp breath, and held a small smile, "Nothing is wrong with you, there never was. She was careless and allowed herself to drift from you. Made mistakes that cost her a spot in Earth. It is not always nice to look for faults in other, dear, I don't permit it.. but on this occasion, maybe it's needed. Neither of you perfect nor angels. Though one quite the sinner. Once a Hell, always a Hell."
Morphine shifted a little so less of her weight was on the male, and her eyes closed to think. "Alarice was a nice gal. Priorities just in the wrong places, dear." she finished, tail wrapping around her back legs and head still resting on him. To lessen up her inner tensions, the female looked towards the dens as best she could, knowing that after this and speaking with the alpha, a much needed nap could take place. She could help, however, but to feel bad and dumbfounded on what to say to the male. She didn't know the situation inside and out.. she had not lived it. But she knew of it and the problems surrounding it. The female was at fault, it was quite clear to her. She'd run into the arms of another man, so it seemed, or was going it. There seemed to be no true physical adultery here.. mentally, however, was a different story. Soft voice came out again, this time a little quieter, "Do you understand the wrong you are in, blaming yourself?"

As she spoke, she laid her head on his shoulder. The physical contact was a comfort to Adyn and he welcomed it. Soon her whole side laid alng his and her weight was resting against him. The peace seemed to flow from Morphine's small form and into his, filling him with peace and calm that he had not felt in a long while. Adyn gently laid his cheek on the top of her head where it rested on his shoulder, closing his eyes, and listened to her words.
He knew that she would not lie to him. That she would speak the truth and help him to see the way that it really was. He trusted Morphine, she was one of the very few that he still had trust for. He had known her since they were young and knew who she was, knew that she would never do anything to hurt him. He was safe to talk to Morphine, to share his thoughts and his feelings, and he knew it.
Adyn turned his head so that he looked down at the female that sat by his side. Taking in her features and the soft look on her pretty face. She was a very special friend indeed, and he knew that he was lucky as hell to be able to call her friend. She was an amazing individual, and in this moment he was overjoyed to have her to talk to.
"I do. But yet I wonder what I did wrong; what I could have done differently. If I had done something different would it have changed things? What made him better than me? You look tired."
