"Out of breath Agora dashed through the field, wet as can be. feeling the darkness of the meadow sucking her in, surrounding her slowly. Wanting to devour her like a honey Badger wanting the Lions prey. When suddenly...."-Earlier that evening-Agora snuck out on her patrol to just go and sit at the Drei river and enjoy the calmness and solitude of the waters splashing against the rocks. She trotted through the Meadow and just at a calm pace made her way to the river. Finding herself a soft spot she lay down next to the river, stuck her paw into the water and just whisked it around. Laying on her back she looked up into the sky and noticed the moon was a big black sphere in the sky, she always wondered what was on the Dark side of the moon.
She stared into the blackened sky and wondered who was looking down on her, where all those powerful shining stars came from and how the got there. She closed her eyes curled up and fell asleep...
She found herself in her dreams standing in the middle of the Meadow, Spring season where all the little flowers blossemed and the bees were buzzing. So happy she fell onto all the flowers and watch the pollen just float way in the wind. She sat up and felt the cool breeze of the Spring wind through her fur, giving her a chill. The breeze started to quicken turning into a gush of wind and in an instant clouds form out of no where and it started to pour like it never did before. Agora ran seeking shelter but could find none, she found herself near the Drei river, seeing a white wolf laying next to the river bank. Walking up to herself she felt a rumble under her paws looked to the ocean and saw a gigantic wave coming right at her... Trying to wake herself up she just stood there frozen. Petrified when suddenly the monstrous wave crashed over her swooping her into the water, she felt like she was going to drown when she woke up.
Wetter than the water itself. Shocked about the dream but more frightened of the reason of how she became wet, because she was still in the same position on the same place where she was 20seconds ago. She looked up to the moon and saw what she could not believe... The moon was blood red, she saw blood dripping from it's edges. Scared she Dashed home so fast she could step on a thorn and not feel it.

Night had fallen long since but the restless female sat up through the earlier sunset and the rise of the half moon. Stars roamed about and twinkled merrily within the expanse of the inky black sky, casting their merry light upon the land of Einser. The moon and stars knew just how to brighten up Aurora’s night and a warm smile spread upon her kissers as she exhaled contently. Bright rosy eyes were closed in bliss as she breathed the fresh night air, listening to the faint sounds of the night. The Drei river sparkled in the moonlight and softly bubbled across rocks, creating a very calming sound. All in all this was the most serene place Aurora knew of and she could always count on it to make her peaceful, even after a heated fight with her mother. The words they had thrown at one another had all but been forgotten as Aurora opened her eyes to gaze longingly at the moon above her.
The sudden footfalls were the first to alert Aurora to the stranger’s presence and her ears suddenly popped up, listening, and sure enough her footfalls grew softer. What had this other wolf running so madly away from the water? A sudden surge rose before Aurora and with a start she stared up at the massive wave. Without another thought she too spun around and dashed out of the ruthless wave’s reach, pushing her body to the limit she made it out of the wave’s range just in time and pounced into the dense woods but still kept going until she collided with something solid. She rolled a few times and fell with a thump, slightly dazed as she drunkenly lifted her head and stared about her as she lay on the ground. She noticed another wolf, white as snow and finally her view stopped spinning. Jumping up she growled at the other female,
“Look where you’re going.”
Her voice was more fearful than anything else as she tried to act as fierce as possible…

Agora collided with the stranger, her wet fur felt heavy when she fell and tried to stand up. Discombobulated she looked around her everything a bit fuzzy, but when she came to she saw another wolf standing in front of her. She saw the words leave the strange wolf's mouth. "Look where you're going" but did not register, when the words finally made sense and the familiar face seemed like home, she jumped up and..."Aurora!" Agora yelled. "Am I glad to see you, please don't tell anyway I slipped away," scared she might tell on her Agora dashed onward to the Den hoping no one have been looking for her.

Aurora struggled to focus on the wolf before her, her eyes remained blurry and were getting worse. The other jumped up just as Aurora collapsed, head spinning, and yelled something at her,
"Aurora!"
Agora yelled.
"Am I glad to see you, please don't tell anyone I slipped away,"
Black clouded in further and further as Aurora slipped away into the abyss of nothingness. She didn't know it yet, but the decrementi disease was slowly taking over her body and her mind was suffering from the pain. Her voice was soft and feeble as she called out to Agora, the only friend she had,
"Agora, help..."
The black pushed in further and her head fell to the meadow's floor, dropping her into unconsciousness.

As Agora reached her den she heard a faint whisper that came with the stroke of wind that followed her...
"Agora, help..."
She shook with how loud that actually sounded when it rang through her ears.
Agora dashed back and found Aurora in a pile of dead grass all around her. The grass darker than the night itself, she knew that dream was an omen. She fetched a stick and poked Aurora.
"Aurora, wake up" Agora said as she poked the wolf in her side.

A poking sensation in her side was what first drew Aurora back to consciousness and she opened her eyes slowly, fluttering them at first and the focusing on her friend standing so close to her, poking her with a STICK! Pouncing up she lowered her head and growled,
“Hey what’s the stick for?”
On a side note Aurora noticed the dead grass all around her and a shiver told her that the air about her was icy cold. That same shiver scurried down her spine and instantly she back-paddled a few steps, horror obvious in her face as even more grass beneath her decayed and died as she touched it. With a start she froze, standing still in one place as her frightened gaze sought out Agora,
“Agora what’s going on? I’m scared!”

Agora let the stick go."well with that happening near you i don't want to know what will happen when i touch you." Agora said kind of scared.Agora stared at her friend's eyes noticing the fear and feeling so helpless She tried to move closer but felt the icy cold wind near Aurora pushing her away telling her it is not wise to come closer."I don't know what is happening, I... I wish i knew, but i don't. Ugh i feel so weak and helpless, can't even help my friend,"Agora started crying and she let out a sad low howl.She started pacing in a small circle, thinking about her dram she had and what if it had a solution to what was happening. Maybe an answer to what was happening. She closed her eyes reliving her dream, her paws and body still soaked after her last encounter. But she got nothing from it. |

Fear took complete hold of Aurora and she started to shiver uncontrollably as tears welled and dripped from her wide confused eyes. She loved nature and all living things. Why was she causing everything to die now? Agora spoke,
"Well with that happening near you i don't want to know what will happen when i touch you."
It was clear that Agora was scared as well and Aurora feared for her friend’s very life. She kept her paws carefully upon the already dead earth beneath her as the tears streamed to the ground. Agora tried to come close and Aurora replied with a harsh voice,
“NO Agora! Stay away from me! I don’t want to hurt you too!”
She listened and thankfully jumped away, speaking in a scared voice,
"I don't know what is happening, I... I wish i knew, but i don't. Ugh i feel so weak and helpless, can't even help my friend,"
Tears now came from Agora as well and Aurora could see that her friend truly cared about her. As Agora started her sad howl Aurora joined her, dropping her behind to the ground and lifting her chin as sad tones exited her maw in a powerful howl. When both finished with their sad songs, Agora started pacing and true worry etched into Aurora. She turned to Agora and spoke in an unsure voice,
“Maybe Alpha Cyone will know what to do? Please will you go and fetch her? I don’t want to cause any more death to this earth…”

Agora said with confusion and fear.Agora ran off to their home and found all the wolves gathered around in the center having a chat and sharing stories. Agora couldn't see nor find Alpha Cyone anywhere. in fear, anger and confusion she ran up to every wolf she could and asked them where Cyone was, all of their answers were the same..."i don't know" |
