regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) Adyn padded through the forest taking in the beauty surrounding him. It didn't take very much to impress him, he was delighted by all of the small things in nature. He pricked his ears and listened to all that was going on around him. There was a bird that was singing a lazy, sweet song in a tree above his head, and there a variety of bugs added to the symphony of the forest around him. A cold breeze rustled the leaves that still clung to the branches overhead making them rattle softly, and upset those that had fallen to the ground forcing from them a light hissing noise as they skimmed across the ground and eachother. Adyn had always loved the autumn months, even with the feeling of foreboding that they held. After the beauty of fall came the cold and hardships of the depths of winter, and that was always hard on the pack, but for now, it was all beauty.
It was still early morning and the earth was just beginning to come to life. A light mist drifted through the forest, giving it a mystical feeling. The sunlight was streamed through the canopy of the trees at an angle, bathing everything in golden light. The colors of the leaves shown brighter in the light of the morning sun; bright red, brown, and yellow hues that showed proudly from both high above his head and below his feet. He could feel the dew dampening the fur on his legs as he walked along the forest floor, but he didn't mind very much, his feet would dry soon enough.
Adyn took a deep breath, pulling the cold morning air through his nose and over his scent glands. He loved the smell of morning, clean and fresh from the night of rejuvenation; untouched by the stresses and strains of the day. He could smell prey around him, but was not looking for that at the moment, he would hunt on the way back to the den. Right now he just wanted to enjoy all of the wonder that surrounded him.
As he came to the clearing around the edge of the bluffs, he slowed his pace even further. The view here was even more breath taking than that of the forest itself. The sun bathed the edge of the cliff in a warm golden light that only intensified the beauty. From here, Adyn could look out over what seemed like miles and miles of land, that all seemed to be at his feet. It gave him a feeling of power and control, and he had to admit that he liked it.
Adyn wandered a few feet from the edge and sat down looking out over the vast expanse of land. As he sat there he gave his mind the freedom to wander wherever it decided to. He thought about the pack, and the winter that was soon to come with all of its hardships. But eventually it wandered back to what had awoken him this morning even before the first light of dawn.
As he had been curled in the den with his clan mates, warm and safe, dreaming of hunting a huge deer, he had once again awoken to an all to familiar noise. The whines and yips were a normal part of the night by now. His sister Eri was often woken from her sleep by nightmares of what the Hell wolves had done to her and the deaths of their parents. When she had finally come back to them, she was changed. Not the vibrant pup that she had been when she had been taken from him all that time ago. After her return she had been so quiet and withdrawn, as he sat there he wondered if he would ever truly get her back. And then his mind began to wander... What would it be like if that border had never been crossed?

She couldn't sleep, what a surprise. It wasn't the cold that had kept her awake, nor the loud snoring of one annoying pack member, no it was worse than that. The nightmares had returned, with a vengeance. Eri had been hopeful when they, strangely, seemed to fade but doubtful all the same that this welcome lapse, in what was an ongoing struggle with herself and her dreams, would last. And so she had been right, without fail after five days of safe sleeping, the dark twisted dreams returned. They taunted her, disallowing her to catch up on what everyone need; sleep. It made her irrevocably tired and even more unresponsive than normal, her eyelids drooping as she sat in the woods alone. Ah, the Einser Woods. They meant so much to her and yet it had been through this woodland and beyond that the real life nightmare had begun. It all seemed so long ago, such a distant time, and yet it was all so fresh in her mind. The scars had not healed despite what she had told Ghost, what she had told the pack, but they would believe her to be damaged goods what ever she told them. She was too strange, too quiet, too elusive for them to bother with her. Eri sighed, feeling a strong pang of loneliness from deep within her chest. This threw her slightly, it was unlike her to wish for the company of others yet alone mourn the lack of it.
She padded on, feeling slightly unnerved by the fact that here was the place where her life changed forever. The ivory she-wolf turned and headed east, now emerging from the misty forest and trotting towards the bluffs. Her tongue lolled slightly from her slender muzzle, and the feeling of the breeze in her soft downy fur was refreshing. The sun had just begun to rise and the view from the cliff top was simply breathtaking, Eri could not help but feel slightly more at peace. She took comfort from the way the golden and pink light cast guiding rays across the land, it made her feel at ease, indeed nature had this effect on the little canine. It was as she slowed to a walk that Eri spotted him, the tall muscular figure of Adyn. Her brother too had always had a certain appreciation for the world around them, his sister had assumed this had been passed down from their parents. Eri swallowed at the thought of how her father had used to take them up here and watch the sunrise; just as they were doing now. She flattened her ears, narrowing those mahogany red eyes at her sibling. Whenever she came into contact with her boisterous, confident brother all she could think about was how easy his life had been, and was. How he never had to go through the aftermath of such a destructive past, Eri sighed.
She had thought that returning and spending time with Adyn would make her feel closer to Ma and Pa but instead being alone with him drove her insane with guilt and incomparable sadness. He had been the perfect child, she however had ripped their whole family apart. How could she possibly be close to him, she didn't want to have be reminded of everything that had happened over the past two years every time she glanced into those identical eyes. Eri shook her head slowly, and turned silently in hope of making a quick and unnoticeable exit.

regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) He caught her scent as the breeze blew from behind him, and didn't have to turn to know who it was.
Eri
It suprised Adyn that she would be here, but he knew that he shouldn't be, she rarely slept. He supposed that it was more the fact that she was here with him than the fact that she was here at all. Since her return, she had changed, it seemed that she was avoiding him and he didn't understand why. He knew that he shouldn't push her to tell him, but it made him wonder just what had happened to her. What had the Hell wolves done to her that made her shy away fom her own brother? He should be the one that she could talk to no matter what, the one that she felt the closest to;not just another that she pushed away to the outside of the wall that she kept around herself. Adyn's brow furrowed in thought as this whipped through his mind.
Just then he caught the faintest sound of paw steps behind him, and heard them stop dead. She must have seen him sitting here. As the steps began to retreat, he turned and called out to the creamy white wolf before him,
"Good morning Eri. Beautiful morning out is it not?"
Adyn sat back down facing his sister and waited to see how she would react to his greeting

The small alabaster she-wolf tensed at the sound of her kin's voice. It felt so strange to hear him say her name, as though nothing had changed over the past two years. As if they were both just sweet, innocent, loving siblings who didn't know anything about life. Well Eri for one was anything but that, the same however, could not be said for her naive, confident brother. She didn't want him to understand, he never would. Even if she tried to explain to him the predicament she had once been in, her twin simply would not be able to empathize fully with her. It would come out wrong, it wouldn't sound like it had been and to be honest there were truthfully no words for what she had been through. Adyn was not the type to 'get' what other wolves were feeling for he himself had never suffered a single days hardship in his entire soft life. For that alone, Eri resented him. She could not stand that he was the perfect pack member, that he was cherished and held an upstanding place in their extended family. Earth had pampered the tall, lean male since the very day his parents and sister had vanished from his life. Still, it wasn't his fault and his female sibling scolded herself internally at the way she seemed to instinctively blame him for all of her hideous mistakes.
She allowed his bold voice to seep into her attentive ears, her identical eyes closed against the beautiful morning glow. Eri wanted to pretend, even for the smallest amount of time, that she was alone because there was no going back now. Adyn had spotted her, and though it had been many many months since she had encountered him properly; she knew him well enough to know he was not going to let her just walk away. Not this time. It was almost four minutes later before the thin, weary she-wolf turned slowly, composedly to face her brother. Her brother. The title insinuated that she loved him, that he knew her inside out, that she could tell him anything but the reality of it all was this; neither of them knew each other at all. Everything had managed to change, one way or another and Eri found her heart hammered fearfully against her chest like a trapped maniacal bird. What if he asked her about their mother, or father for that matter? What would she tell him exactly, how would she be able to describe to him what the Hell wolves had done to their beloved Kari. The gentle, wise she-wolf had often spoken of her son, Adyn and how much she missed and loved him. Perhaps it was her duty to report back to him now on this, to .. comfort him? Bitterness raked her heart violently, it was not her duty to soothe the mere worries of her twin brother when he had lived such a cushy, easy life.
She did not sit down, unlike Adyn. Instead she chose to stand uneasily, blankly staring into his matching mahogany red eyes. Eri wanted to turn tail and vanish the way she had came but that was simply not a possibility anymore. At his words that had sounded a while back, the female merely nodded. She did not want this conversation, she never had.

Alarice has never been into the Earth lands. She was only here now because of Adyn. A smile crossed her lips as she thought of him. Birds shied away knowing she was not supposed to be here. Growling, she rolled her icy blue orbs and loped onward. Her muscles rippling through her white pelt. She needed to find Adyn before the alpha found her alone on his lands. Deer scattered as she came breaking through the foliage. All of a sudden she smelled Adyn. Her heart leapt with joy as she slowed and walked toward him. Something smelled weird though. There was another pack member with him.
Alarice walked to the edge of the forest and lied down. She was watching the pair, instinct told her to rip the females throat out, but she knew she needed to stay hidden if she was to learn anything useful. Adyn called her Eri. A name she had never heard of course. Watching the female, she saw in her eyes she did not want to be with Adyn at all. Alarice wondered again why they were even together if the female clearly hated to be in his presence. Cocking her head, she shifted just enough to snap a twig under her. Mentally slapping herself, She turned and walked in the other direction. Hoping to vanish before they knew she was here. Adyn would know instantly, but she hoped he wouldn't pursue her. Her heart yearned to go back, but she knew Adyn might be mad she was eves dropping, so she hid behind a nearby tree and held her precious breath trying to disapear.

regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) Adyn heard the snap of a twig in the woods nearby, and knew that she was there. Thought he could not see her, he knew that it was Alarice that had made the noise. Unconciously, Adyn smiled to himself. Alarice in his home was all he had ever dreamed of, and now it was happening. The trip here had been rough, but they had made it.
Suddenly he became aware of his sister's presence once again. She didn't sit with him, nor did she say a word. Simply stood before him like he had her trapped in a place that she did not truly wish to be. Adyn didn't understand why she acted this way, why she avoided the way that she did, or was so quiet.
"Well no use in putting it off. It has to be done. He didn't know how Eri would react to what he was about to share with her, but he didn't see any reason to put it off. Looking her full in the face, he took a deep breath and said softly...
"Eri, there is somone I would like you to meet..."
