The sun threatened to break free of the cold night, just peaking over the distant horizon. The vast, never ending sky now coated a dingy grey as it lay feathered with even darker, wispy clouds. During the night, the young wolf traveled onward, the fact that she was fairly deep into claimed land never crossed her mind. At least-she chose not to notice. She figured as long as she was in and out, while tending to her own business, and careful enough not to cross another's path-everything would be fine. A salmon tinted tongue ran its length across her jowls slowly as Prophecy slowed her trot to an ultimate halt. Her cranium swiveled on its axis, examining her surroundings. Tall hills of sand stood around her, erect, seemingly unmoving. She had never seen such things before, and she took a curious, hesitant step towards one.
Her eyelids dropped, blinking slowly as she gazed around. Her head shook, followed by similar movements of her torso until it reached to the tip of her tail, as she literally shook herself out of her trance. Prophecy flicked her tongue across her nose, and continued to walk forward, on her ongoing straight path to nowhere, her curiosity now scurrying out the door. Indentations of her paws stayed behind, evidence of her whereabouts, while the lupine took her sweet time in walking through the territory. A long, gaping yawn rolled through her lungs and off her tongue, her canines exposed in the process before she clamped her muzzle shut at the taste of the sand blowing in the nonexistent breeze.
Once erect mounds of cartilage atop the broad skull of the female, plastered themselves against the crown of her head. Her neck extended to the sky as she lifted her muzzle, her moist nostrils flaring as she caught the scent of something dead. Immediately, her mouth began to flood with saliva. Death meant a carcass, and a carcass surely meant food. Long strides were taken as she became set on finding the the food. It would be the first meal in several days, and her malnourished form was proof of that. The meat around her stomach dipped in, her ribs slightly protruded through her hide, making it obvious this wolf was not in healthy conditions.
Pools of gold glinted at the sight before her; a dead body-possibly canine lay sprawled across the desert's ground, beckoning her to feast. Prophecy's long legs sprang forward, a seething growl bubbling to the surface as she barreled forward, scattering the large black birds picking into the carcass. Caws and squawks of protests were heard, but ignored, as the yellow tinted wolf towered over the body, her eyes gleaming, and drool began to seep from her agape muzzle. The torso had been ripped open, exposing the decaying bones within. Small, black bugs crawled along the insides of the corpse as Prophecy examined her prize. She placed a heavy paw against the rib cage, as her head dove in, grasping a piece of flesh as she pulled back, and the meat snapped like elastic. Her molars ground against the tough meat briskly before she swallowed and dove back in.

Satin textured radars swiveled along atop the brute’s broad skull, the sensitive hair fibers inside the cartilage mass trembling briefly. Distributing his weight evenly amongst his durable pads, he strode onward with his narrow chest leading. His deep descending ribcage inflated as he inhaled the precious oxygen, replenishing his lungs and transporting the vital gas necessary for his respiration. Densely packed fur along his nape ruffled slightly as he stimulated his elongated robust limbs in a fluent gait, transporting his muscled physique along the grainy province. The ebony fur that shrouded his build gleamed slightly as the first rays of the sun’s iridescent beams torched the surface. His sloping back descended briefly as he reclined back onto his haunches as he cast a forthcoming gaze to the sun which had finally gained liberty from the wispy clouds above. Once freedom was granted, the sun stained the sky in a crimson hue, spreading like a disease along the atmosphere.
Continuing onward, he allowed his elongated tail to remain in a neutral position, dangling freely from his posterior and tickling his heels slightly. A jaded expression was plate rested over his visage he traveled in a rather random direction, his moist nostrils flaring as he inhales the scents of the territory. Eyebrows elevated along his wide forehead s he tipped his broad muzzle upward once more, taking a gander at the heavens, which had softened to a less vicious carmine hue. Moving in a casual pace allowed his skull to become level with his back, and he kept his attentive irises onward as he placed one paw in front of the other. Increasing his speed slightly, he huffed, expelling a billow of carbons before quickly refilling his lungs once more. A sudden breeze carried along the messages of the region, and a wisp of metallic blood lapped at the roof of his mouth causing him to halt abruptly. Interesting. Immediately he pressed onward, increasing his momentum into a fluent gait, and allowing his great skull to descend furthermore, cocking it to the side. A single ear remained facing ahead whilst the other swiveled around to face his rear so that he may make use of his exceptional hearing.
Now traveling at this pace, he was able to transport his massive physique rapidly along the surface of the dunes, his paws pressing into the abrasive sand and leaving behind imprints. His tail had risen to become level with his vertebra as his feathery pelt plastered itself to his muscular build. Elastic adjacent hairs on his limbs appeared to blur as he forced his appendages to move at a more brisk pace, the scent of a carcass leading him near like a vulture. Although he wasn’t particularly interested in the corpse, he was more intrigued to know what had killed it or what was feasting on it. Crystalline irises reflected the illumination from the sun above, casting an unusual glow as he allowed thin eyelids to curtain them partially. With his gaze tapered against the grainy substance his coarse paws threw up, he grunted, the harsh nose vibrating his vocal cords. Feeling his muscles churn beneath his coat caused a content grin to flicker subtly upon his countenance before suddenly contorting. With a single eyebrow raising, he pursed his leathery lips in interest. Malevolent had arrived to the scene and was now observing a feminine lupine gorging herself on the cadaver of another canine.
Decreasing his velocity, he merely pranced towards the female, making sure to clear his throat so that she was aware of his presence. Parting his elastic lips, he peeled the curtaining lips away to reveal his lethal incisors in a suave grin. Naturally, he approached females in a less threatening manner, finding it to be extremely discourteous. Plus...it decreased the chance of…ahem erotic behavior. Allowing his skull to rise to it’s full height, her pointed his erect ears in her general location, elevating his tail into a half moon for a few moments until relaxing back into a casual posture. His intention was to inform her of his ranking so there would be no confusion, but he wasn’t trying to intimidate her. Reclining regally onto his haunches, he rested his feathery posterior to the sand littered earth and resting his tail along the terrain lazily. Stroking his salmon pigmented muscle along his broad muzzle, he dampened the stubby whiskers before speaking in a charismatic tone, his words gliding from his tongue in a silken manner.
“Excuse me…I couldn’t help but notice your famine. I understand that you would need to fulfill the emptiness in your stomach, although I don’t tolerate loners doing so on my land. Unless…”
Applying pressure to his forelimbs, he leaned forward, removing his posterior from the sand. Striding towards her in a leisured pace, he eradicated the distance between himself and the female, his glacial irises locking onto the vibrant honey hued pools of her own. Once he was closer to her sleek build, he allowed his eyes to inspect her, a suave grin brightening his features. Now that the sun cast it’s holy rays upon the province everything was more clear and vivid. Wherever the beams touched the female’s pelt, it exploded into a vibrant golden hue, causing Maow to flicker his ears in admiration. Pressing his lips to he perked ear he grazed the elastic fur with his incisors, growling the final words with a rather impish tone.
“You’d like to join?”

There wasn't much edible meat inside of the dry, gaping corpse, but Prophecy took her time in savoring what was. Her canines slicing through the tough flesh, a dull, spine chilling rip sounded as she finally tugged a hefty piece of meat free from the insides of the body. A large bird landed awfully close to her, but didn't draw her attention from her meal. The vulture-like creature staggered around the canine, swiftly jerked its head forward, plucking off a piece of meat from an exposed rib. Without emitting a warning growl, she hurled herself towards it, the bird ferociously flapped its wings in the lupine's face. Which resulted in a stunned wolf, and a meal for the canny bird. She blinked once, dismissed the scene and settled back over the carcass. It was then, when paw steps rumbled in the distance, getting closer. Prophecy remained hunched over the dead canine, her tongue rasping at the meat, but her ears stood upright, her tail raising its self slightly as the steps grew nearer. Just a few feet ahead.
The thuds grew imminent, and her lips raised the slightest while a growl churned deep within the depths of her esophagus. When the throaty sound of air rasping harshly against its vocals, she didn't look up, but continued to scrape at the confines of the rib cage. After a moment, she heard a solid 'thud' hit the hard ground. Prophecy's eyes flickered upward for just a moment, catching a glimpse of the wolf interrupting her tranquil morning. She had to resist the urge to look up again, and stare-in annoyance. After a moment, when there was nothing left to scrape from the carcass, she lifted her head, and heftily ran her heavily saliva covered muscled along her chin slowly. Whilst doing so, her honey glossed orbs fixated themselves onto the wolf in front of her, instantaneously, they shifted into slits as he spoke.
“Excuse me…I couldn’t help but notice your famine. I understand that you would need to fulfill the emptiness in your stomach, although I don’t tolerate loners doing so on my land. Unless…” 'Unless what?' She couldn't help but mutter to herself, as she continued to glare at the wolf-whom's coat looked like a stew of obsidian shadows; the strands moving fluidly against each other, giving off an eerie demeanor. After she had non-too subtly roamed her eyes over the male, she directed her gaze next to his head, right over his shoulder, her features twisting into one of contemplation. So this was his land? Mm. Prophecy unconsciously gripped the hard soil between her claws, kneading it. And what- Her thoughts were cut short when the male leaned effortlessly into a standing position, and glided towards her.
“I'm leaving,” she stated, her voice steady, unnerved as she stepped away from the carcass. With each step he took forward, she took two back. Being as he was larger, with longer strides, somehow the space between the two lupines dissipated, along with Prophecy's sense of comfort. Instead of shrinking back and submitting, she attempted to elongate her limbs, her ink-spilled lips twitching over noticeably exposed canines. She stepped slightly to the side, her head turning forward, locked in that position, her body slightly quivered as she looked at him sideways, watching a grin crawl its way across his muzzle. She caught a glance of his icy, azure eyes, and her muscles tensed. As the wolf leaned towards her, a growl rose in the pits of her larynx, gurgling around her closed teeth.
She attempted to regain her composure, but lost when his lips brushed against the inside of her ear, her eye twitched as she stood there, but they were soon replaced by his teeth, barely grazing the cartilage. A shiver coursed it's way from the base of her spine to the pads of her paws at the thought of his teeth piercing her skin. A low rumble snuck its way from the confines of her chest, to the surrounding air of her muzzle, as she bit down on her tongue. “You’d like to join?” The murmur barely drummed its way into her ear canal before she lowered her cranium, a snarl pooling into her mouth. All previous thoughts had been thrown away, and the closeness of the male had become intimidating. Prophecy extended her neck, opened and snapped her jaws in the vicinity of the male's head, not intending to actually harm any. She backed up again, before twisting her torso and stalking sideways around the male, outstretching a paw hastily, this time, in hopes to connect her claws to his precious flesh.

Her reactions to his procedures caused another mischievous smirk to tug on the corners of his leathery lips, and the elastic fleshy folds around his mouth stretched along his muzzle, revealing the significant ends of his incisors. Through tapered irises, he observed her, his velvety organs swiveling forward and erecting at an angle, so that he may catch her statement. Leaving, hm? As the final breathe emitted from his jaws after his own segment, she abruptly descended her broad dome before a treacherous snarl tore from her throat, the violent sound causing Malevolent’s willowy whiskers to twitch. A provoked glint foretold her following actions, allowing the ebony Alpha to arch his neck in the opposing direction just as her powerful jaws snapped at his muzzle. He remained in a calm posture, not batting an eye at her threatening snap, although the clamor caused the sensitive hair fibers within his earlobes to sway.
Although he was fairly sure she didn’t mean any harm by the snap, because if she had she could have lurched her slender build forward, not just outstretched her neck. Either way, he now had a grim facade as he watched circled him slightly, a single eyebrow raising. With a subtly billow of carbon dioxide ejecting from his jaws, which were ajar to some extent. Rolling his shoulders, which was one of his signature actions, the brute stood rather statuesque. Fixating his eyes, so that they burned holes in her pelt, he kept his skull forward, following her with his gaze only when she was in his line of sight. Although his substantial physique remained in place, the muscles beneath the dense ebony pigmented pelt that cloaked his build rippled and tightened as he flexed the taunt tissue. As the golden female lunged forward, he remained still, allowing her to close the distance, then he whipped around unexpectedly, his abrasive pads throwing up clouds of debris and sand, which danced in the atmosphere for a moment before being swept away by the gentle breeze. Cocking his cranium to the side, he allowed her dainty paw to clip the edge of his shoulder, the blunt claws protruding from her toes snatching a few stranding of his obsidian cloak.
Malevolent was well aware of her oncoming attack, however he didn’t even make an attempt to dodge the attack nor did he blink. Instead, he took the force of the blow with his powerful shoulder, stiffening his hind limbs so that he didn’t falter or lose his balance. The dull basalt claws that scraped his pelt didn’t break the skin, considering the dense pelt that protected his flesh and the lack of sharpness that a feline would occupy. Now that she was directly in the path of his unhinged jaws, he allowed his neck to snap forward like a striking cobra, the iridescent saliva that cloaked his incisors glinting as he attempted the close them around her nape, which was mere inches from him. If he was successful in gripping the loose skin, he would merely apply pressure to said flesh, breaking the skin slightly to show her who was more dominant. If she were to try and attack once more, he would thrash his broad muzzle in a frenzied stroke, tearing at the flesh and shaking some sense into the stubborn female. However, if by some chance his jaws closed around air, he would remained in his unmoving form, awaiting her next assault.
OOC: Ohh it's so short, it sickens me. ;~~~; But I was trying to post before I leave...which will be in ten seconds. xD I'm not sure when I'll be back today and I didn't want to have to make you wait any longer seeing how long it's already been. I apologize. Plus I didn't want to powerplay and snatch you around so I made it an attempt. <3 c:

His neck twisted skillfully away from her canines, causing them to snap together in response to his actions. She had then stalked around to his other side, lowering her eyelids as the muscles above his eye raised irritatingly. Redirecting her eyes away from his, they fixated upon his body. His muscles tensed, and then untensed. Tensed and untensed. The veils over her orbs dropped lower before she had swung a fore in his direction. Her claws connected with his flesh, and dragged briefly across the surface before dropping back to the ground. It was then he moved, blurring against her vision. And with that, the grains of earth along the terrain were swept into the air, few particles collecting onto her sensitive eyes. Prophecy began profusely blinking, attempting to rid the foreign fragments from her orbs. With no avail, she squeezed them shut, and attempted to walk forward.
Even she couldn't enjoy the sensation most wouldn't. It wasn't exactly painful, but uncomfortable to say the least. The hard grains of rock sliding against her corneas were nothing to relish in, and she knew that. She had stopped moving, and stood, her cranium hunched over her chest when jaws clasped around the loose folds of her neck. Oh, she had completely forgotten he was there. Instinctively, she began to pull against his hold. She didn't want to dominated, or tossed around like a child. As a result of her futile movements, Prophecy was thrashed about, her paws skidding across the rough ground. At this, a hiss resonated in the confines of her larynx, only stopping when she ran out of oxygen to supply the sound. After the blissful sensations caused by the male's incisors had dulled, only did she react to the hold whenever she twisted or squirmed, and with that, a low groan slipped its way passed the female's vocals.
Prophecy fidgeted about for a few moments; flinging her limbs in every direction, and even attempting to twist her head around to possibly loosen his hold. Nothing happened. If anything, she probably locked herself more into an uncomfortable position. Between every idle endeavor, Prophecy had to stop her movements to collect herself. The pleasure she was feeling with the male's teeth clamped around her neck contradicted with the fact that she wanted to escape said teeth. Finally, the ochre lupine relaxed all of her muscles, and stared ahead. She was frustrated, agitated, and over all embarrassed. Her tongue grazed lightly over her rubbery lips, thinking. She was being held still like a child, and she couldn't even break free! Her jaw lowered slightly, agape, and she inhaled and exhaled audibly. She figured if she stayed in this position, he would eventually let her go. Out of pity. She quickly commented to herself. She didn't need anyone's pity. Uttering no sound, Prophecy attempted to twist her body around, and simply batted her fores at the male as hard as she could. Hopefully she could get an eye, or two.

With her honey kissed fur pressed forcefully into his jaws, he grunted, keeping a secure, unyielding hold on her nape. His fleshy muscle that inhabited his jaws flickered along the fur, moistening it with his saliva. Distributing his weight amongst his robust appendages evenly, he allowed his chest to protrude as he craned his neck backwards, holding her at an awkward angle, making her thrashing rather useless. However, the stubborn female continued to snap her jaws violently whilst throwing her weight around, clashing into his chest and shoulders. Applying pressure to the skin, he pierced the flesh further, driving his incisors deep within the region to both cause her pain and get a better grip. Irises narrowed maliciously against her writhing, although he was slightly impressed by her attempts. Just slightly. Grinding his jaws into her nape, he resisted her frantic movements, his incisors ripping deeply into the loose skin unintentionally. He stood relatively still, however the more she thrashed the more pain and damage to caused herself. It was fruitless.
Finally she seemed to subside her relentless flailing, raspy breaths emitting from her gaping jaws. However he remanded rigid, his skull still cocked to the side so that he’d be able to detain her if she’d try and escape once more. Just as he suspected, she pivoted slightly, floundering a single forepaw at his face. Considering he was holding the back of her neck, it was a ineffective and rather idiotic attempt. Chuckling sourly, he suddenly swayed to the side and descended his skull towards the earth violently, literally throwing the female to the dirt. Once she hit the ground, he merely tightened his grip, the crimson fluid from the nape staining his muzzle and tainting the atmosphere with it’s sweet aroma. Narrowing his irises for a moment he inhaled the copper scent, before growling threateningly, then placed a firm paw on her shoulder, holding her in place upon the earth. Lashing his tail in aggravation, he loosened his hold slightly, making sure to keep his hold on the actual flesh, but spitting out the excess fur.
Speaking in a prevailing tone, he questioned the female, his muscles rolling beneath his felt as he rolled his shoulders with impatience, “Are you done wasting your energy and embarrassing yourself?” Without waiting for her to reply he continued in a subdued voice, his words silken yet holding a foreboding tension, “I’ll release you so that we may have a civil conversation unless you’d like to be tossed about in the dirt some more?”
As he said, he slackened his grip until he completely released the mutilated nape. Backpedaling slightly, he reclined to his posterior, tilting his skull in an inquisitive manner as he watched her through half lidded eyes. She looked ridiculous. Splayed across the terrain with dirt coating her golden form, and her nape sticking up in sticky, lubricated clumps due to the blood and saliva. Flickering his tongue across his muzzle silently, he waiting for the female to regain her dignity and rise to her paws once more, a sinister aurora settling on his physique. He seemed rather unimpressed by her attacks, however interested by her actions. With the metallic tang clinging to his tongue, he grinned inwardly, however kept his expression clear. The scent of blood attached itself to his pelt, causing his hackles to rise slightly. The aroma was marvelous. “Now. I’ll ask you once more. Would you like to join this pack and be welcome to these lands?”

A cackle rasped from the beast above her, trickling into her coat, and running down the length of her hide. She couldn't help but inhale sharply, the air slicing through her clamped teeth when she was raised slightly above the ground. And all too fast, the terrain that was once below her paws blurred closer towards her, and it stopped. Her body smashed against the ground, the air in her lungs exerted instantly, leaving her heaving inaudibly to supply herself with the needed oxygen. She could practically feel her fluids leaving the puncture wounds along her neck when he squeezed tighter, causing her to twist her face in nothing but exotic pleasure, her claws grasping at the ground and whatever else they could grab hold of. The male's paw pressed against her shoulder, molding her further against the grainy earth. Prophecy attempted to glance up towards the male, unconsciously rolling her tongue over her dry lips.
Surprisingly, the grip upon her neck wavered, and she twisted slightly, but from brief experience, she -reluctantly- stayed still. “Are you done wasting your energy and embarrassing yourself?” The veils along her eyes lowered, but she made no attempt to respond to the question. “I’ll release you so that we may have a civil conversation unless you’d like to be tossed about in the dirt some more?” 'Nothing's wrong with getting a little dirty,' she murmured dryly to herself. At the feel of him progressingly loosen his hold, Prophecy twisted slightly, attempting to turn herself on her stomach against the soil. Once the male had fully released her, she rose to her appendages with seemingly no haste. The male stepped back and sat. She walked the other direction. Although trying to contain a calm disposition, she was trembling on the inside. Prophecy turned, and took long, leisure strides as she began to shortly pace.
It hadn't actually occurred to her that she could be filthy. Was her coat dirty? Her head tossed down and to the side, gazing at her flank, which was in fact dusted with gravel. She stopped, twisted her torso briefly, and continued pacing. She had just been dominated, thrown around, and yet all she could feel-besides embarrassment-was a sort of longing for it to happen again. The sensation of his teeth penetrating her flesh-Oh. The thought sent a shiver racking through her bones, while a bashful smile trickled across her muzzle. “Now. I’ll ask you once more. Would you like to join this pack and be welcome to these lands?” Her cranium gradually swiveled in the direction of the male, and she-almost instinctively- gave him an annoyed expression for interrupting her thoughts.
Prophecy hesitated momentarily, before she made her way towards the male. Her head hunkered between her front limbs as the golden wolf's eyes peered from under her lids. They grazed over him, before landing on his eyes and to the space next to his neck, right above his shoulder. It was uncomfortable looking into another's eyes for so long, she felt as if they could read things from her she didn't know about herself. Briefly, she pondered over his name and dismissed the thought completely when she felt close enough for her own good. Gradually, the young lupine eased herself onto her haunches, whilst eyeing him under hooded lids. Eventually, her hindquarters hit the ground and Prophecy ran his question through her mind once more. Maybe she could get used to his presence? She could surely get used to the idea of being thrown around once more, as much as she hated it, she had loved it just as much. Flicking her tongue across her moist nose, she fixated her gaze upon the male, and parted her lips. “Sure,” she replied simply, while dragging out the word.

At her previous remark, a dry sneer stretched along his muzzle while he observed her return to her paws gradually, he thought back to that glimpse he saw upon her features. It was only a brief flash, and he wasn’t exactly sure if he had even seen it. However he could have sworn that it was an erogenous expression radiating from her appearance. Dismissing the thought…for now at least, he gazed at her posterior as she strode away from him. Unable to control himself for a moment, he trailed his irises along the slope of her spine which descend towards her muscled haunches and the inviting area of her rump. Her dense appendage concealed the area which inhabited the lubricated muscular tube that gave him maximum pleasure. Imaging his forearms wrapped along her flank caused his spine to arch to some degree as he continued admiring her appearance. The modest glimpse he was able to perceive only caused his sudden desire to heighten, however he forced it away and grunted in a regal manner, trying to straighten his straying thoughts.
Parting his leathery lips, the salmon pigmented muscle, which was moist with saliva to moisturize his elastic fur which shrouded his broad muzzle. It had been a while since he last relieved himself with a female, although it was an uncontrollable urge considering it was the ‘heat’ season for them. Now that birthing season was in process, most female’s shied away from any erotic behavior. Some of them even seemed to ‘disappear’, possibly to give birth to their puppies which was highly likely that were his own. No matter. He usually pleased himself with loners or rogues anyway. The drumming of the golden fleeced lupine pulled him from his voluptuous thoughts and he refocused on her pacing form. Seconds later and she pivoted her shoulder and began to advanced towards him, causing a single non existent eyebrow to cock. Her skull was level with her spine whilst she gazed at him through half lidded eyes. It seemed rather…saucy. But the odds of his previous thoughts could be corrupting his judgment and he cleared his mind once more as he locked onto her honey kissed lanterns.
Noticing her relocate her gaze downward he tilted his muzzle upward in perplexity but spoke nothing of it. The two of them remained rather frozen in their postures for a few drawn out moments until the loner eased onto her haunches, keeping her attention plastered of the Alphas of Hell. Moments of silence enclosed the two until the feminine words penetrated the shroud, “Sure,” she spoke. Immediately Malevolent narrowed his eyes into a tapered manner, his skull craning forward slightly as he spoke in a glacial tone, “Mm. Good choice.” Expelling a dominant rumble he levitated his paw towards his chest and continued speaking, “As you may or may not know, I go by Malevolent and I’d prefer it if you referred me as such.” He waved his escalated paw in a half hearted circle whilst a jaded expression plastered along his facial features, “I’m the Alpha, obviously. And I welcome you to these lands…yadda yadda blah blah blah.” Snorting he swept his suspended forepaw in a indolent half circle, motioning the expanse around him, “I’d rather not waste unnecessary words on a formal, well thought out greeting, so I’ll leave it at that,”
Dropping his forepaw to the grainy surface of the dunes he sniffed disdainfully, his tongue running over his bloodstained lips once more, “And you are?” Clicking his tongue along the roof of his mouth he allowed a dry cackle to arise from his unhinged maw before he ground his incisors together briefly, “It’s not like I want to become “best friends” with you and share with you my feelings or thoughts, however It’s kind of ‘more appropriate’ to call you by your name rather than a number.”

The tip of her tail twitched uncomfortably, inches above her hocks as she felt the godawful sting of eyes burying into her. The lupine's hide ran taut along her facial features, while her jaw clenched itself, unintentionally grinding her incisors together. Her shoulders tensed awkwardly, drawing the muscles along her back together as she strode away, and then pivoted to begin her pacing. Her thoughts had went wild after that, returning back to the previous incident of the male tossing her around like a lifeless rag doll. It was a pleasant thought. A pleasurable one at that. Prophecy rolled her saliva coated muscle over her rubbery lips unconsciously. It was after the words maneuvered off of the male's tongue did she regain her right mind and turned to stride towards him.
The sun had managed to sneak its way higher into the sky, casting its heavy beams upon the earth. In the process, warming the pelt of the golden wolf, to what would seem like an uncomfortable temperature. She didn't mind, it was far better than the cold, that was for sure. In fact, it was in the slightest enjoyable. With her neck extended, and her dome in line with her vertebrae, the female advanced towards him at a leisure pace. When she did such, she noticed the muscles above one his eyes pulled up as before, in question, she supposed. She found this...habit of his irritating, to say the least. After her eyes met his for the briefest of moments, Prophecy relocated her gaze, slightly to the right. She noticed slight movement in his cranium, but couldn't quite pick out the actual action. She let it be.
For a long, drawn out second, Prophecy stood, gazing-slightly to the right- at the male, before she reclined onto her posterior in a poised manner. The other lupine had questioned her before, asking her if she wanted entrance to these lands. She responded with the obvious answer; yes. Well, not exactly, but it was the same, in a sense. Prophecy's tongue flicked over her upper lip, swiping at her rough nostrils, and slithering back into the cave in which it exited. The male's lids narrowed, and she mimicked the action, tensing her muscles as she silently prepared for an attack. Hopefully. His skull eased forward subtly, and she leaned her head back slightly in response. “Mm. Good choice.” As the words cascaded from his tongue, Prophecy exhaled forcefully from her nostrils.
Suddenly, she wondered what would have happened had she said no. Attack her or just simply run her out of his territory? She doubted she'd make it that far with him on her heels. And yet, the former brought a glint of eagerness to shine in the depths of her ochre pools. A grumble dislodged from the male's vocals, causing her ears to erect and perk forward. Even so, she found herself raising the muscles surrounding her eye, mocking the action the male had done a few times before. His paw rose to his chest, and she followed the action with her eyes. “As you may or may not know, I go by Malevolent and I’d prefer it if you referred me as such.” Malevolent. Prophecy pursed her lips slightly, shifting her weight onto one side, when she grazed over him in one, quick sweep of the eyes. Malevolent. Mm, she supposed it fit him.
Again, she watched as his paw swept the air, her eyes lingering on the appendage as she listened to his words. “I’m the Alpha, obviously. And I welcome you to these lands…yadda yadda blah blah blah.” Even though it didn't feel necessary, she dipped her muzzle in a curt nod of understanding. Once more, her eyes trailed the path of his pad as it leisurely cut through the air. “I’d rather not waste unnecessary words on a formal, well thought out greeting, so I’ll leave it at that.” The lupine glanced up towards the male-Malevolent, swaying her tail across the surface of the dirt a few times to keep from fidgeting awkwardly. One of her ears flattened atop her head when he brought his paw back to the ground, and took a sharp intake of breath. “And you are?”
“Prophecy,” she spoke without hesitation. It was one of the only things she spoke without thinking over. It required no thinking, just a simple answer. Although, most of the things Prophecy 'thinks over' are simple, and require no thinking at all. A snicker arose from the male and both of her ears lowered along the slope of her head at the sound. ..What was he laughing at? The veils that shielded Prophecy's eyes blinked slowly. “It’s not like I want to become “best friends” with you and share with you my feelings or thoughts, however It’s kind of ‘more appropriate’ to call you by your name rather than a number.” Oh. She absently wondered what her 'number' would be. Silently, she began to drag her paw across the sandy earth, creating indentations around the space she was sitting on.
