regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) Suddenly her weight was lifted off of him, and he heard the Alpha's growl. In an instant, Adyn was on his feet and trying to get between the two of them. His voice was strong and yet pleading, all pain forgotten. This was worse than not being able to breathe.
"Ghost! Ghost get off of her! Please! She is hurt, you can't do that! Please give me a chance to explain it to you, you will understand that it is not what you think it is. Ghost please, I know that you are a good and understanding leader. Ghost please!"

Alarice was fighting with her Hell side to let go when a hard body slammed into her and she fell to the gorund. Ivories slipping free and she heard the growl from the alpha. But her hell wasn't backing off, she wanted to fight back. Gulping, ALarice closed her eyes under the alpha's stare and whimpered. Her tail tucking, and her ears being drawn back.
Ghost, I am going to tell you once, step off of me.
Her bloodlust was strong, her icy blue eyes opened into the alphas and all her struggle was shown.
If you'd get the hell off me Ghost, Maybe I could explain and tell you about what just happened. Or I could show you again. Now off, I am not leaving until you give me a chance to explain damnit!
She had a demand laced through her voice. It was almost as demanding as the alpha's and she was keeping it. A low growl sounded as she glared at him.

regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) Adyn froze at her tone, he knew that that was not going to go over well. Looking down at her, he spoke gently yet firly and with a note of pleading.
"Alarice, is she caged? Please try and remember our talk about respect. I know that this is a change for you, but you can not speak to him that way. Anyone else maybe... You probably won't have many friends, but I love you... but not Ghost alright? I know that this is a lot for you and that you are in shock, that is my fault. I am sorry."
Adyn switched his attention back to Ghost. Asking with his eyes that he try and understand and give them a chance.
"Ghost please, give us a chance. This is my fault. If you will listen to us and give us a chance I will make you a trade."

regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) Ghost stood tall and powerful, shadowing Alarice who was pinned down beneath him as a feral growl erupted from his maw, anger evident in his eyes and his lifting lips, exposing ivories. She had gone too far this time and it was apparent that she was unpredictable and couldn’t stop herself. Adyn tried fruitlessly to get between Ghsot and Alarice and Ghost snapped at Adyn, not aiming to bite him but merely sending him away from Ghost. Adyn was the first to speak,
"Ghost! Ghost get off of her! Please! She is hurt, you can't do that! Please give me a chance to explain it to you, you will understand that it is not what you think it is. Ghost please, I know that you are a good and understanding leader. Ghost please!"
Ghost replied swiftly, his voice pointedly emotionless but sharp,
“Stay out of this Adyn! She has already proved herself and no amount of explanation will change my mind. She is unstable and a threat to my pack. I cannot allow even one exception and neither will I allow her to be a risk within my pack!”
Ghost felt Alarice struggling beneath him. She was still trying to fight back! //Foolish girl.// Ghost thought as he growled down at her, a demand for her to lie still or he would surely make her lie still. A sudden whimper came from her maw as she flattened her ears and tucked her tail, appropriate behavior and Ghost was just about to let her back up before she spoke,
“Ghost, I am going to tell you once, step off of me.”
Did she dare to demand Ghost to get off of her? His muscles tensed in anger. There were only two things that sent Ghost into a furious anger, any threat to his pack and blatant disrespect towards him. Such anger now assailed him and bloomed like a poisonous flower within his belly as he snapped at Alarice, missing her on purpose but warning her also as he remained in place,
“It will do your situation good to not order me anything, Alarice. Believe me when I say I will not hesitate to nullify any and all threats against my pack and right now you are a big threat.”
“If you'd get the hell off me Ghost, Maybe I could explain and tell you about what just happened. Or I could show you again. Now off, I am not leaving until you give me a chance to explain damnit!”
A growl and a glare followed and Ghost had all but had enough and lunged for her when Adyn’s words stopped him moments before his ivories ripped into her throat,
"Alarice, is she caged? Please try and remember our talk about respect. I know that this is a change for you, but you can not speak to him that way. Anyone else maybe... You probably won't have many friends, but I love you... but not Ghost alright? I know that this is a lot for you and that you are in shock, that is my fault. I am sorry."
Mere millimeters separated Ghost’s canines and Alarice’s throat when Ghost spoke with obvious fury in his voice,
“I do not care what happened and neither am I intimidated by your demanding words or your attitude. As I said, I will NOT hesitate to kill you if you keep up with this disrespectful manner of yours!”
"Ghost please, give us a chance. This is my fault. If you will listen to us and give us a chance I will make you a trade."
Ghost hesitated and drew his maw away from Alarice’s throat. He had no intention of letting Alarice up. She was not to be trusted right now and he barked another order at her,
“Stay down if you value your life!”
He then got off of her but stayed close enough to attack if she tried to get away. He then turned his head to Adyn,
“Speak and tell the truth, Adyn. What do you offer as trade?”

This time Alarice yelped as he came within inches of killing her. Her tail was tight on her stomach as he ordered her to stay down. She closed her icy blue eyes and a tremble went through her. She had reigned in her Hell side and she was scared. The rolled to her side but stayed down. Her throat and belly showed in respect as she listened to the verdict.

regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) Adyn stood watching in horror as his alpha leaned down to rip her throat out. If Ghost hurt her Adyn thought that he might just rip his throat out. Ghost was a good leader, and would do anything for his pack, but as his ivories came within millimeters of Alarice's delicate throat Adyn knew that he would never see him the same way. He barely managed to stop the growl that rose to his throat, but he could not hide the anger in his eyes.
Finally, Ghost let her go, but he did not do so without another threat to her life. This only infuriorated Adyn more. He would not let his respect for his alpha slip, but he was not at all happy with him.
“Speak and tell the truth, Adyn. What do you offer as trade?”
Adyn paused before he spoke. He knew that Alarice would not like it at all, and he was not sure what Ghost's reaction would be. Looking the alpha full in the face, and meeting his eyes, his voice was strong and even as he answered.
"If she harms another member of the earth pack, you can have my life as collateral."

regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) Ghost was pleased to see Alarice staying down and nodded in her direction as he turned his attention to Adyn. It would seem neither of these two star struck lovers understood the weight of what had happened just now and Adyn made this clear as he spoke up, his voice holding only a tinge of anger with a hint of wavering respect,
"If she harms another member of the earth pack, you can have my life as collateral."
Ghost’s gaze bore into Adyn’s as he loomed over the slightly smaller wolf. Fierce protective anger was evident in the alpha’s eyes but it was never directed at any one of these two. He didn’t need any explanation as to why Alarice had acted the way she did. In fact he knew why she did. He had had many encounters with his sister who had been suffering from the same bipolar disease all her life. He knew there was no remedy and he knew there was no stopping the effects. Any small thing could trigger it and Ghost was not about to let two wolves and their love jeopardize the safety of his pack. His gaze was stern as he beheld Alarice for a short while and then Adyn in turn. His marble colored fur ruffled lightly in the breeze and his ears were fixated on the both of them. Ghost knew Adyn’s attempt was futile and another outburst on Alarice’s part was inevitable. Still Ghost’s mind was plaguing him about the outcome of this encounter. Should he allow them entrance into the pack they would sow discord among the members and soon others will also be asking to join the pack. Ghost gazed straight into Adyn’s orbs, his own reflecting like mirrors the gravity of what he said,
“No, Adyn. I cannot allow it and I will not go back on my word. When she came her asking for admittance I placed you both on trial and you both swore to me your allegiance. Still you broke my agreement. What would stop you from doing so again? Sorry Adyn, but I cannot trust this female and you aren’t strong enough to care for her either. She must leave.”

Alarice stood abruptly, her anger flashed into her eyes. Turning to Adyn, she spoke in an icy tone.
I am leaving. YOur alpha will never understand. By Adyn hope to see you around.
She turned to Ghost, her eyes telling him she held no respect, then she turned and fled into the forest.

regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) Adyn stood in shock for a moment as her words crashed into him like a wave. He watched as she whipped around and took off into the woods, not stoping to look back nor give him time to follow her. The pain in his chest was unbearable, but it was not the pain that had pleagued him earlier, this was in his heart. A deep and killing pain that tore at him from all directions, killing all sense that was left in him, leaving just a shell with one mind. He had to go after.
Whipping around to face Ghost a low growl passed through his clenched teeth. His eyes burned with pain that was so intense that it should have melted the alpha on the spot. As he spoke, his voice was a growl, low and full of hate and pain that was so deep it took over everything.
"I thought you were just Ghost. I was wrong. I have seen you looking at our wounds, watching us. You may as well know that they are not from her. There was no fight between us. A bear came into our camp and the wounds you see are a result of it. She saved my life Ghost. Look at my neck. Is there a mark there? There are no marks from her teeth on me, none. The only thing that she has ever done to hurt me is what I have told her to to save my life with the stick. You may not understand it, but I can control her, and she can control it with help. I don't care what you think you know from personal experience or whatever else. Your wrong. If you will not have her then you will not have me either."
Adyn turned from the alpha and took off into the woods, following his mate.
