Saoirse
Age: Four years
Gender: Female
Breed: Manitoba Wolf x Newfoundland Wolf
Pack: Earth
Rank: Member
Personality: There is one predominant thing about Saoirse and that is the fact that she is selectively mute on her own terms. She will, if she feels comfortable enough, will delve into conversation with another if she wishes it so. She is soft spoken and quiet, speaking no more above a whisper, and would much rather listen to someone else speak than blabber on and on about nothing. She’s honest to the core and an awful liar and most can call her bluff if she ever dares to try. Constantly shadowed in fear, Saoirse is easily frightened and is borderline paranoid about the smallest things. A loud, sudden noise causes her body to seize up and makes her violently quiver, or said noises will make her run with no signs of stopping.
Saoirse is innocent and tends to seek the good in anyone, no matter how big or small to prove to herself that there is good in everyone. She is an open book as all her emotions play out across her face without hesitancy. Her heart is worn on her sleeve but she’s trying to tuck it back behind the fabric to protect herself. She is gentle and earnest, and no one will find anyone more genuine than Saoirse. Being self-conscious about herself, Saoirse gets incredibly nervous when someone compliments her, whether they mean it or not. Once she gets to this extreme of nervousness, she rambles and makes no sense. There is a downfall to Saoirse and that is her poor mouth filter that acts up on a daily basis and most of the time, what is said isn’t necessarily nice. Once she slips up, she profusely apologizes but knows deep down that is how she truly feels.

History: Saoirse was the product of a rape between her mother and the Alpha Male. Her mother, Notte, was young and naively so but was beginning to despise the growing babe within her. She had often tried to physically harm herself as her mental stability at this point had sunk to a new low. Her father, Aspro, now kept her under watch in order for her to carry out the burden of their child. Once Saoirse was born, Notte had no choice but to feed her due to the orders of the lead. From the time she was weaned, Saoirse became the notorious outlet for not only her mother, but everyone else in the pack. Her own father had used her for such things as well and she didn’t think otherwise. The pain, the beatings, and the verbal jabs was what she viewed as normal but even so she had seen various other pups around her age receiving no such treatment.
Notte told Saoirse on a daily basis that she was worthless and would never achieve anything great in her life. Soon, she began to believe it. Saoirse was often silent as if she spoke out of turn, she would often be brought up to Aspro and he would make her regret ever having done so in the first place. She was a parentless child and even though some members had told her that Notte and Aspro were her parents, Saoirse would often reply that she had none. She was on the outside looking in and what she saw made her jealous. Pups were beaming and outgoing, their parents adoringly caring for them while Saoirse got the short end of the stick. When she aged to two years old, her mother was nearing the end of her second pregnancy.
Her half-brother, Damis, was brought into the world and was given a brighter outlook on life. Her mother adored him, even his father did as well. He was sheltered from harm and often coddled to extremes that Saoirse wanted desperately to trade places with him. She wanted to feel the love and to soak it all in instead of enduring the flares of pain. Damis turned into a fine one year old and it was then that a strange pack member, one of the elders, had told him that Saoirse was his half-sister. He doubted the male simply because Notte had told him no such thing and the elder was given the title of being off his rocker.
Saoirse had attempted to make contact with Damis and disobeyed orders to stay inside the cave to approach him. She spoke with him on occasion, trying to tell him that she was his sister but would often be pulled away and lost in a group of wolves attacking her. She desperately needed him to know that Notte wasn’t what she seemed. She had sunk into a depression, one that dug away at her insides and she refused to eat. She was weak and no one came to her to release their pent up rage, instead, they turned towards Damis.
Notte had been conspiring with outside herd in order to get back at the lead for what he had done to her years ago. Damis was confused and tried to fight back but to no avail. He was soon the second prisoner and was roomed in the same cave with Saoirse. It was then that he listened to her and they grew close even if he still doubted they were related. Both of them were bound at the hip but to their horror, Notte gave birth to their youngest brother, Khui. Saoirse had turned three and Damis was now just shy of two. Notte had taken up a mate and showered Khui with fake love. Somehow, Aspro admired the rambunctious pup and as soon as he was weaned, brought him away from his parents to be taught everything he needed to know.
Aspro’s own offspring grew envious of Khui and frequented Saoirse and Damis to release their rage. Saoirse and Damis kept close watch on Khui and both often spoke that he wasn’t quite right; something was off with the eight month old. Khui was often found talking to himself, even screaming to the air and returning with small scratches and an excuse as to how they got there. Saoirse had tried to bring this to the attention of anyone but was often abused back into silence, and only talked to Damis when she felt like it.
When Khui turned a year old, he vanished, and Saoirse felt the need to find him but even exploring the nearby vicinity, he was nowhere to be found. Damis had tried as well and came up with nothing. A month later and Khui returned with a sick and twisted look in his eye and attacked Aspro; however, he wasn’t alone. Within the confines of the forest resided the pack that was Aspro’s foe and they soon plundered the land and attacked all that got in their way. The males bred any female that was in heat and soon set their sights upon the young Khui in hopes that he’d kill Aspro. Notte came onto the scene and screamed at Khui to stop but only watched as Aspro murdered her son.
Notte’s mate was part of the enemy herd and had corrupted Khui soon afterwards. In the midst of the chaos, Saoirse and Damis escaped after they witnessed the death of their half-brother and ran off. In order to keep either pack off their trail, they parted ways. By the age of four, Saoirse reached these lands, scarred mentally and physically, but more importantly, wishing nothing more than to keep her new-found freedom and new life away from the clutches of evil.
